Milagrosa Canyon Hike 5/27/07

We had gotten a copy of “Day Trips with a Splash – Southwestern Swimming Holes” by Pancho Doll.  Tim was in town and we decided to go for a hike.  The swimming holes in Milagrosa Canyon looked good, were a short hike and were said to be good spring-fall.  We left early to beat the heat of a late May day in Tucson.  The trail head is only about 12 miles from our house and the hike was about 1.5 miles.

The hike turned out to be very nice, the location was GREAT, but the water in the pools was stagnant.  This is a place we will be coming back to (after some rain).
